Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and successful delivery experience for our patients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to work with our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetric nursing and be able to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to laboring women and their newborns
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and successful delivery experience
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • One to three years experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
