Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse

We're seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an L&D RN, you'll provide high-quality patient care and support for women during the birthing process.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have 3 years' recent acute care experience and be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. You'll be responsible for monitoring patients throughout labor, assisting physicians with deliveries, and providing immediate care to newborns.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients throughout labor and provide emotional support
  • Assist physicians with deliveries, including epidurals and cesarean sections
  • Provide immediate care to newborns, including weighing and measuring
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • 3 years' recent acute care experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
