Labor Delivery Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN to join our team as a travel nurse in Lincolnton, NC. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses to work in a fast-paced environment while enjoying the flexibility of travel nursing.
About the RoleThis position requires 3 years of recent acute care experience, with a focus on labor and delivery nursing. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing emotional support and education to expectant mothers and their families
- Assisting with deliveries, including cesarean sections and epidurals
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and performing routine checks
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current ACLS and BLS certification
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care, with a focus on labor and delivery
- The ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
