Oncology Care Specialist

Atrium Health Charlotte seeks an experienced Oncology Care Specialist to join their team in Lincolnton, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and possess excellent communication skills.
About the RoleThis is an ongoing staff position with a start date of ASAP. We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
Job DescriptionThe Oncology Care Specialist will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing and diagnosing patients in a practice setting, identifying outcomes and implementing treatment plans.
- Coordinating care delivery, including oncology and infusion related treatments, therapies, and procedures.
- Providing education and counseling to patients and families regarding health needs, healthcare activities, immunization requirements, medication effects, and contraindications.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN licensure or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in North Carolina.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in oncology, IV therapy, bone marrow, spinals, thoracenteses, paracenteses, and phlebotomy preferred.
- Oncology certification preferred.
