As a dental hygienist, your duties will include conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth, and advising patients on oral health and preventative care. You'll help dentists decide treatments for teeth or gum diseases, and be responsible for ensuring patients feel comfortable before their examination.

You'll also need to sterilize dental instruments properly, conduct initial mouth screenings, and identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis. Additionally, you'll educate patients on proper teeth care, give instructions after operations, and take X-rays or dental impressions.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Dental Hygiene License: A valid dental hygiene license is required for this role.

  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills are required to educate patients on proper teeth care.
