Job Summary:

This is a full-time, 12-month, benefit-eligible position that reports to the Custodial Supervisor, Assistant Director of Operations, and/or the Director of Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and replace all outdoor trash
Clean pool bathrooms
Wash and dry custodial rags
Respond to any and all calls for custodial needs throughout the day
Check with supervisors for additional work for other departments
Clean areas of the campus during the day to assist the night crew
Help with event set-ups, including cleaning the dining hall
Clean/power wash custodial golf carts as needed
Leaf blow the carport where the golf carts park
Additional custodial duties as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Effectively communicate with supervisors and staff
Valid driver's license
Fluent English preferred
Custodial experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
Stand for long periods of time
Bend or twist body
Repeat the same movements
Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl
Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects
Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements

Benefits:

The pay for this position is $18.30 per hour. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefit programs are available, as is a 403(b) retirement plan. Eligibility for all benefit programs is defined by the applicable plan document.
