Waste Management Trainee Position

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our waste management team in Anchorage, AK.

As a Waste Management Trainee, you will participate in our comprehensive training program to obtain your Class B CDL.

The typical schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 5:30am start times, with 8 hours of work per day. Estimated salary: $38,000 - $46,000 per year, based on experience.

This role involves various tasks, including equipment operation, site cleanup, and container assembly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning equipment with a pressure washer
  • Picking up litter
  • General site cleanup
  • Container Assembly
  • Other assigned laborer duties

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a labor/operator type position
  • Ability to safely use a pressure washer
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout the entire shift
  • Clean driving record
