Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Boot Barn is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a team of sales associates.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Lead and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and optimize store performance.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree and/or 2-4 years of experience in retail store management.
  • Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication, customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by a Partner to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Standing or walking for 75% of schedule shifts.
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting occasionally throughout scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to use a ladder and/or step stool occasionally.
  • Required to lift, move, and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation and reports.
  • Must be able to see, hear, and speak in order to communicate with partners and customers.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Manual dexterity required using hands to finger; handle, feel, and type; reach with hands and arms.
