Senior Operations Leader; Private Client Services

The Senior Operations Leader; Private Client Services will be responsible for overseeing the operations of Private Client Services (PCS) and partnering with the technology team to set and execute the long-term technology strategy. This role will also involve liaising with other Capital Group and external technology, outsourcing, and custodial interdependent operational teams to ensure an effective and efficient operating model, ultimately facilitating impeccable client service.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with other leaders in the organization to establish vision and strategy for the operational ecosystem, including people, processes, and technologies.
- Oversee daily operations, resolving issues as appropriate in partnership with client-facing teams.
- Drive continuous improvement across platforms, including internal and external partners, establishing SLAs and KPIs as necessary.
- Balance high-risk operational environments while providing impeccable client service.
- Identify and/or develop best practices, effectively driving their adoption to build scale and fuel sustainable growth.
- 15+ years of operational and technology experience in wealth management, with 10+ years of leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of existing and emerging technologies in wealth management.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams, with prior experience managing other leaders of people.
- Solution-oriented in fluid environments, with a natural service-orientation and high learning agility and comfort with ambiguity.
- Previous success with strategic and/or operational project delivery experience, with deep curiosity and passion to understand complex operational problems.
- Bravery in challenging the status quo.
- BA or BS degree, with a Master's degree (CFP or CPWA) a plus.
Capital Group offers a highly competitive base salary, with a Southern California base salary range of $171,968-$292,346. In addition to a base salary, employees are eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, Capital's annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of eligible earnings.
