Job Title: Direct Support Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional at our residential setting. As a Direct Support Professional, you will have the opportunity to assist persons served with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and behavioral issues in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist persons served with daily living tasks, such as meal planning and preparation, personal care, and medication administration.
  • Facilitate community activities and outings, promoting socialization and engagement.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each person served.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality care and support.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in direct care or a related field preferred.
  • Current driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain a valid driver's license.
