Job Title: Banquet Server

Job Summary:

The Banquet Server is a key member of our events team, responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests during banquets, receptions, and other events. As a Banquet Server, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and break down banquet staging areas, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in place.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests, following our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure that all tables are set with clean linens, glassware, and silverware, and that all necessary items are available for guests.
  • Anticipate and respond to guests' needs, providing exceptional service and ensuring that every guest feels valued and appreciated.
  • Work closely with the events team to ensure that all events are executed flawlessly, from setup to breakdown.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge, ensuring that you are always up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in the industry.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures, including table settings, wine service, and menu knowledge.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies, as needed.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
