Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Samaritan Healthcare. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of hospital grounds and buildings to detect and prevent potential security threats
  • Investigate incidents and file reports as necessary
  • Enforce hospital safety and security policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries and concerns from patients, staff, and visitors

Requirements

  • Three years of civil law enforcement experience or law enforcement training preferred
  • Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) certification required within three months of hire
  • Valid driver's license required

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position working Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am - 6:30 pm. The Security Officer must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safety and security of our hospital.
