Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Mahler Private Staffing. As a key member of our domestic staffing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional housekeeping services to our clients' luxury residences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping Management: Oversee and manage the daily housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and direct a team of housekeepers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
  • Administrative Support: Serve as the administrative right-hand to the Director of Residences, providing support with tasks and projects as needed.
  • Quality Control: Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure that all areas of the residence are clean and well-maintained.
  • Specialized Care: Provide expert care for fine materials and surfaces, including antiques, artwork, marble, brass, china, crystal, silver, and fine linens.
  • Laundry and Linens: Manage and care for all household laundry, including hand-washing, ironing, pressing, and steaming of garments and linens.
  • Project Management: Plan and execute deep cleaning and organizational projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with the Director of Residences and other team members to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior experience working in a similar position in a private home, luxury hotel property, or yacht, with a desire to offer exceptional service.
  • Professionalism: Professional demeanor and appearance, with a positive and pleasant personality.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and organization, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Cleaning Skills: Excellent cleaning skills, including knowledge in the care of fine materials and furnishings.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to lead by example.
  • Discretion: Unflappable and discreet, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Communication: Superior communication skills, with strong English language proficiency.
