Full Charge Executive Housekeeper

Our clients have a beautiful Manalapan residence would like to hire an experienced, full-charge Executive Housekeeper.
This is a full-time, year-round role and is a great opportunity for a Yachtie who wants a land-based role.
The principals are looking for a self-starter who enjoys working alongside a team to care for a fine home and offer elevated service to the principals.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the team, assume responsibility for the general and specialty cleaning of the residence.
- Manage and direct the two current Housekeepers.
- Serve as the administrative right hand to the Director of Residences especially when he is traveling to other locations or visiting off-site properties.
- Perform a daily walk-through of the residence.
- Ensure daily tasks are performed, tend to kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms first thing each day.
- Provide informed care of specialty materials and surfaces (e.g., antiques, artwork, marble, brass, china, crystal, silver, and fine linens, etc.)
- Care for all household laundry; perform hand-washing, ironing, pressing, and steaming of garments and linens. Maintain a dry-cleaning log.
- Maintain a project list and strategically plan deep cleaning and organizational projects when the family is traveling.
- Keep and care for fresh flowers in the residence.
- Communicate effectively with the Director of Residences and other team members.
- Assist with serving and cleaning up for dinner parties and other events.
- Run errands as requested.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a similar position in a private home, luxury hotel property, or yacht, with a desire to offer five-star service.
- Professional demeanor and appearance with a positive, pleasant personality.
- Excellent attention to detail and organization.
- Excellent cleaning skills, including knowledge in the care of fine materials and furnishings.
- Works well as part of a team; all hands-on deck attitude. Leads by example.
- Unflappable and discreet.
- Superior communication skills. Strong English is required.
Schedule
Generally, Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm with the flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
Salary and Benefits
- Excellent salary of $60-$65/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
- Benefits include fully paid health, dental, vision insurance, annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) with generous match, PTO, and 12 paid holidays.
