Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our Product Development Team at Lennox International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our residential heatpumps, working closely with field technical service, engineering, product managers, and manufacturing to resolve product quality and reliability concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide troubleshooting, application, and installation expertise of residential heatpumps
  • Diagnose issues with residential heatpumps to guide Lennox groups to the appropriate resolution
  • Assist in the development of technical documentation and provide training materials, updated installation, operation, and maintenance instructions, service and application notes, and proof-read new documents as needed
  • Provide product application and troubleshooting training to Inside Technical Consultants and Field Technical Consultants
  • Present product-related training, information, and updates at Sales and Field Technical Consultant meetings
  • Monitor warranty and part shipments to identify trends that may indicate a potential product issue that requires corrective action
  • Work with Product Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and the Vendor to improve the product
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in the installation, service, and application of residential cooling products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to multitask to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with SAP is preferred
