Job Summary

Libra Industries Acquisition LLC is seeking a skilled SMT Production Specialist to join our team. As an SMT Production Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards utilizing Surface Mount Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate SMT pick-and-place machines to assemble printed circuit boards.
  • Hand place SMT components and hand paste PCBs to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Set up and operate screen printing equipment according to established procedures.
  • Reliably produce quality workmanship consistent with IPC or equivalent standards.
  • Pass IPC certification for CIS including all Libra required modules.
  • Provide feedback to improve written instructions and perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year electronic manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to detect quality defects.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows based computers, MS Word and Excel.
  • IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing and walking the length of an SMT line for eight hours in a workday.
  • Manual dexterity and use of hand tools.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
  • Prolonged use of stereo microscopes to perform detailed tasks.
