Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Teller to join our team at Heritage Financial Credit Union. As a Part-Time Teller, you will provide outstanding service to our membership base, assisting members with deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and more. You will also act as a relationship manager to our members, helping them discover and identify their financial needs and referring products and services that can help them reach their goals.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties
  1. Provide outstanding member service by accurately processing member transactions and actively promoting products and services.
  2. Perform responsibilities of position in accordance with federal and state regulations, credit union policies and procedures.
  3. Represent the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner.
  4. Cross-sell credit union products and services.
  5. Process mail and night depository transactions.
  6. Create new member packets as needed.
  7. Ensure that teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, etc.
  8. Perform member service responsibilities; answering questions and requests, researching and resolving member issues, etc.
  9. Assist Branch Supervisor/Branch Manager as necessary in balancing and maintaining ATMs and vault, training new employees, opening/closing procedures, etc.
  10. Recommend changes, workflow, efficiencies, and quality.
  11. Meets or exceeds goals as outlined.
  12. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a high school diploma or GED, plus two years of customer service and cashier experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience. Experience using PC-based software, including Microsoft Office, is also required. We value candidates with excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to project a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $16.23 per hour, plus unlimited monthly incentives. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous PTO policy, and opportunities for growth and development.
