Job Summary

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator II to join our team. As a member of our dynamic nursing education team, you will play a critical role in supporting the professional development of our clinical staff.

About the Role

The Clinical Educator II will be responsible for providing educational programs and resources to our critical care staff, with a focus on innovative and evidence-based practices. You will work closely with our nursing AVP for Professional Practice, Quality and Innovation to develop and implement educational initiatives that support the transition of new staff to practice and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational programs and resources for critical care staff
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop and implement educational initiatives
• Provide educational support to new staff members during their transition to practice
• Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical innovations and technologies in critical care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing required; Master's in Nursing preferred
• At least 3 years of nursing clinical practice in direct patient care required
• NJ RN license required
• AHA BLS required
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Work Schedule

The Clinical Educator II will work a 4/10's schedule, with flexibility for weekend coverage. Specialty certification is preferred.
