Job Overview

Prestige Staffing is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager - Patient Accounts and Collections to join our team in a dynamic healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing payment posting, self-pay collections, and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Training
  1. Provide guidance and support to a team of payment posters, collectors, and customer service specialists.
  2. Set clear performance expectations and monitor their performance regularly.
Payment Posting
  1. Oversee the accurate and timely posting of payments received from patients and insurance companies.
  2. Ensure that payment posting procedures comply with organizational policies and industry regulations.
Self-Pay Collections
  1. Manage the self-pay collections process, including patient communication, payment arrangements, and follow-up.
  2. Monitor collection efforts and account aging to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Provide guidance and support to collectors in negotiating payment plans and resolving payment disputes.
Customer Service
  1. Lead the customer service team in providing exceptional service to patients.
  2. Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Business Administration, Healthcare Management).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven track record of successful team leadership and training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
What We Offer
