Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Archaeologist/Project Manager to join our Permitting, Planning, and Licensing Practice in Orlando, FL or Tampa, FL.

This role will support various energy and infrastructure projects throughout the Southern/Gulf States, as well as Oklahoma and New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be involved in a wide variety of energy-related projects, including electric transmission, natural gas pipeline, and renewable energy generation projects.
  • Effectively coordinate field work, direct and support other technical staff, interact with clients, stakeholders, and contractors, and manage budgets, invoicing, and schedules.
  • Develop and implement research designs, work plans, and schedules, as well as analyze and report on project findings.
  • Work closely with other Cultural Team Leads, Principal Investigators, TRC archaeologists, environmental staff, permitting specialists, and managers in TRC's Planning, Permitting, and Licensing practice.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Anthropology or Archaeology, meeting the Secretary of the Interior's guidelines.
  • Five or more years of progressive experience supervising archaeological projects in the Southern/Gulf States or Oklahoma.
  • Excellent personnel and management skills, with a track record of progressively higher-level experience as an archaeologist.
  • Ability to serve as the Principal Investigator (PI) for projects and obtain regionally-specific permits.
  • Knowledge and experience with Section 106, NEPA, and other state and federal regulations.

Compensation

Salary will vary based on experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program, contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators.
