EKG Technician

We are seeking a skilled EKG Technician to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As an EKG Technician, you will play a critical role in performing electrocardiographic exams on inpatients and outpatients, assisting physicians with technical components of Stress Electrocardiograms and/or Stress Echocardiograms, and contributing to the scheduling of patient procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electrocardiographic exams on inpatients and outpatients
- Assist physicians with technical components of Stress Electrocardiograms and/or Stress Echocardiograms
- Assist in scheduling patient procedures, transcribing echocardiographic reports, stress test, and Holter reports
- Edit ECG's on MUSE system
- Scan Holter monitors
- Assist in coordinating the function of the department
- Assist in training of new staff
- Successful completion of basic ECG course or knowledge of ECG rhythms
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Experience in Holter monitor scanning, stress test, and transcription
