About the Role

We are seeking a skilled EKG Technician to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As an EKG Technician, you will play a critical role in performing electrocardiographic exams on inpatients and outpatients, assisting physicians with technical components of Stress Electrocardiograms and/or Stress Echocardiograms, and contributing to the scheduling of patient procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrocardiographic exams on inpatients and outpatients
  • Assist physicians with technical components of Stress Electrocardiograms and/or Stress Echocardiograms
  • Assist in scheduling patient procedures, transcribing echocardiographic reports, stress test, and Holter reports
  • Edit ECG's on MUSE system
  • Scan Holter monitors
  • Assist in coordinating the function of the department
  • Assist in training of new staff
Requirements
  • Successful completion of basic ECG course or knowledge of ECG rhythms
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Experience in Holter monitor scanning, stress test, and transcription
