About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Zoological Specialist to join our team at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. As a key member of our animal care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our animals, while also providing exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement animal training programs using positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Assist with animal husbandry, including cleaning, maintenance, and landscaping of animal habitats.
  • Engage with guests and provide educational programs about animal behavior, conservation, and wildlife management.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other animal care professionals to ensure the highest level of animal care.
  • Participate in conservation breeding programs and support the development of dynamic animal training projects.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in zoology, biology, or related field preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50lbs as needed.
