Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Recovery Coach to join our team at Telecare. As a Peer Recovery Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges to achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with members served to explore, create, and meet their own recovery goals.
  • Provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture, as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS).
  • Respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment for members served experiencing an emergency related to a mental health/addiction challenge.
  • Travel to and work at Western States Hospital for approximately 20% of the time.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current Certification by the State of Washington Peer Counselor Training Program.
  • One year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members served with behavioral health challenges.
  • Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care.
  • Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
  • Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
