Project Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Coordinate with various departments to schedule shop floor deliveries and manage vendor timelines.
  • Oversee testing and final assembly processes, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and expediting teams to ensure deliveries and assemble customer O&M Books.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and project details with multiple vendors.
  • Lead project-related conference calls and interact with third-party stakeholders.
  • Analyze and recommend areas for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Provide regular reporting to the project management team and schedule meetings with customers, vendors, and company departments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in applications, including selection and cost, preferably in a related industry.
  • Process, administrative, operations, and SyteLine experience.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to present effectively in formal and informal settings.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers and coworkers.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to multitask under pressure.
