Job Overview

Integrated Water Services (IWS) is a leading provider of integrated solutions for water and wastewater treatment, with a focus on water recycle and reuse. We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to lead our business development efforts in the Western Region of the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales and proposal process for all lines of business for water, wastewater, and reuse projects
  • Develop and maintain national account relationships and build new customer relationships
  • Develop new representative relationships for the municipal and industrial market
  • Gather project requirements through field visits and communicate with engineering to develop a conceptual design
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities with a focus on new accounts in the region
  • Control the sales process and drive leads to closure to generate new revenues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, a related field, or equivalent water treatment experience
  • 5+ years of experience in water treatment sales
  • Direct experience in selling to one of our key markets – residential development, food and beverage, or municipal
  • Experience in consultative sales with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation with a proven ability to work across functional areas
  • Skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and building rapport with clients and business partners
  • Ability to travel up to 60%
