Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

About the Role
Hartford HealthCare's Hartford Hospital is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team of cardiology inpatient providers. As a key member of our cardiology service line, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients admitted with myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, and heart failure. You will also support patients undergoing complex percutaneous revascularization, cardiac ablation, or device placement, as well as advanced heart failure therapies and structural heart procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, high-quality care to patients across the care continuum
- Work collaboratively with specialty teams to support patients with complex conditions
- Support patients undergoing advanced heart failure therapies and structural heart procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours coverage as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's program
- Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Connecticut
- Certification or eligible to be certified as a National Board Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse through AACN or ANCC
