Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse on the Medical Cardiology unit at Saint Francis Hospital, you will be part of a team that values teamwork and prioritizes quality patient care and patient safety above all. Our unit provides care to a diverse array of patients with a focus on cardiac populations, including MI, Chest Pain, and Arrhythmias. We also function as an overflow MICA unit and a Level 1 Stroke unit, providing exposure to a wide range of patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to patients with cardiac conditions

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

• Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut

• BLS (AHA/ARC) certification

• BSN degree preferred

• Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiology experience preferred

Work Schedule

Full-time, 36 hours per week, Nights, 7pm-7am
