About the Role

Darigold Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Plant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key business partner with the Operations team, you will serve as the financial lead for our manufacturing plant in Pasco, WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans to support the plant's growth and profitability goals.
  • Cost Management: Evaluate and manage production costs, including inventory management and cost accounting.
  • Internal Controls: Assess and improve internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular financial reports and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead junior members of the Operations Accounting team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of standard cost accounting and its implications in a manufacturing environment, as well as knowledge of inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Soft Skills: Strong team player with effective communication skills, both oral and written.
