Job Summary

Aequor Technologies is seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Nursing Professional to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit, managing a wide range of medical conditions and post-operative care. Your expertise will be invaluable in monitoring and assessing patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, documenting findings accurately and promptly. You will also administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring proper dosages and adherence to protocols. In addition, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each patient. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures to ensure patient safety. Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each patient
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures to ensure patient safety
- Perform routine administrative tasks such as updating patient records, scheduling follow-up appointments, and coordinating care with other departments

Requirements

- Strong understanding of medical-surgical nursing practices, including patient care, medication administration, and emergency response
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and hospital information systems for accurate documentation and data management
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients, moving medical equipment, and standing for long periods
- Active [STATE] Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Med Surg Nurse or in a similar role
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Experience with EPIC or similar charting systems
