Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to contribute to our Tacoma Clinic Team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in delivering internal care for various medical aspects under the guidance of collaborating physicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver health education and screening to patients, promoting wellness within the gastroenterology specialty.
  • Conduct thorough health assessments, including detailed health histories and comprehensive physical examinations.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians to address both acute and chronic medical needs of patients.
  • Ensure continuity of care by monitoring patient progress between physician visits, maintaining accurate patient records, and managing communications.
  • Design and implement health promotion and therapeutic plans tailored to the patient's specific health issues.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant in Washington State.
  • Active participation in professional organizations such as ANA, WSNA, AANP, or SGNA.
  • Certification from AANP, ANCC, or AAPA.
  • Current CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements, with consideration for medical or religious exemptions.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional travel to local facilities may be necessary.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 10 hours daily.
  • Prolonged sitting for administrative tasks, including computer use.
  • Capability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach as needed.
  • Able to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 15 pounds.
