Responsibilities

Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:

We are looking for a qualified Advanced Practice Provider to support our Neurosurgery department within the Franciscan Medical Group. This role is primarily based at our St. Joseph Medical Center.

The selected APP will deliver medical services and assist in the development and execution of high-quality, cost-effective, and value-driven patient care under the guidance of Neurosurgeons and the Medical Director. Responsibilities may include clinical duties, patient rounding, operating room assistance, and shared on-call duties with fellow APPs, with additional compensation for on-call hours.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Valid Washington State PA/ARNP license
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience as an ARNP or Physician Assistant
  • Familiarity with EPIC is advantageous
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with physicians, office staff, patients, and their families
  • Exceptional communication skills and professionalism
  • Strong dedication to the patient care team approach and adherence to privacy regulations
