Caregiver Role Overview:

As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will play a vital role in delivering a purpose-driven experience for our residents. You will work closely with our nursing team to provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow care plan directives and administer direct patient care.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and moving.
  • Initiate resident needs assessments and safety checks by observing and reporting unusual findings to the nurse.
  • Coordinate with the nursing team to record accurate vital signs and maintain records of ADLs.
  • Administer standard precautions and infection control standards to provide a clean and safe environment.
  • Promptly answer call lights and regularly assess residents' needs to verify their requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with the geriatric population.
  • Certified nursing aide licensure required by state regulations.
