About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Resilient Healthcare. As a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of patients' homes.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist physical therapists in direct patient care, preparing engaging exercises and activities for therapy sessions. You will also provide counseling and consultations to new patients, their family members, and caregivers, ensuring they receive the necessary support throughout their treatment journey.
Our ideal candidate is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant with a strong understanding of HIPAA legislation and patient privacy laws. You must be proficient in computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation, as well as have experience working with sensitive patient records.

Key Responsibilities- Assist physical therapists in direct patient care according to individual plans of care.
- Prepare engaging exercises and activities for therapy sessions.

- Review patient files prior to appointments to ensure a clear understanding of challenges to be addressed.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Attend continuing education courses to advance personal knowledge and experience within the field.
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Texas.
- Proficient in computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation.
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy is required.
- Demonstrates knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws.
- Experienced in working with sensitive patient records and information.
- Physical endurance and ability to work primarily in a standing position and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Demonstrates a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, family members, or other staff members.
