Job Overview

Position: Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer role at RiverPoint focuses on the ongoing engineering, design, development, and validation of sensors and measurement devices.

This position is under the supervision of the Engineering Manager for Business Continuity & Improvements (BC&I).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Job Duties and Tasks:
  • Analyze field failures, warranty claims, or performance issues of existing products for enhancements and/or cost efficiency.
  • Deliver electrical engineering knowledge to address production and product challenges.
  • Design and create both analog and digital embedded electronic circuits to fulfill project goals.
  • Input schematics into CAD systems and assist in PCB design initiatives.
  • Generate, submit, and implement ECOs (Engineering Change Orders).
  • Facilitate and conduct testing activities to confirm the performance of components and systems.
  • Document the concepts, designs, testing, and analysis for developed electronic circuits.
REQUIREMENTS - Experience & Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 2-3 years of experience in analog and digital electronic design.
  • Familiarity with EMC design and testing practices is preferred.
  • Experience with Altium is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of LabView is a plus.
  • Strong testing and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain development timelines while addressing cost control and reliability concerns.
  • Willingness and capability to learn new tools and design methodologies.
