Job Summary

This position supports the initiatives of the Operations team and is responsible for maintaining the shop and performing minor mechanical repairs on equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Loading, unloading, and identifying materials, machinery, and tools, and distributing them to the appropriate location.
  • Storing and stacking material.
  • Providing assistance to the shop crew.
  • Lubricating machinery, equipment, or parts.
  • Positioning, aligning, or leveling machines, equipment, or structures.
  • Performing general shop clean up as needed.
  • Maintaining quality and effectiveness of mechanical operations by observing and correcting for tool and equipment wear and breakage, malfunctions, and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Assuring a safe environment and operations by strictly following all Company and industry safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintaining supplies inventory and requisitioning replacement purchases.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to pass a pre-placement drug screen and satisfactory background check.

Preferred Experience

Experience in equipment maintenance, operations support, or mechanical repair is an asset. Additionally, experience operating a forklift or telehandler is preferred.

Physical Demands

The successful candidate must be able to:

  • Stoop, kneel, bend, and stand.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Load, unload, and move large equipment and tools.
  • Walk, climb stairs, and lift continuously.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00.
