Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on quality of care, typically managing 14 to 16 patients daily (30-minute consultations)
  • Providers are evaluated and rewarded based on care quality rather than volume, with many earning annual bonuses of $15,000, distributed biannually
  • Begin with 160 hours of paid time off in the first year, in addition to 5 days for continuing medical education, with the clinics observing 8 national holidays
  • Benefit from a robust clinical support team, including RNs, LVNs, MAs, scribes, nurse educators, case managers, clinic administrators, referral managers, coders, centralized scheduling, nurse advice line, and advanced IT support
  • Engage in collaboration with primary care physicians (Internal Medicine & Family Medicine), hospitalists, and a network of employed and contracted specialists

Qualifications:

  • Certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Current licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners or as a Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board
  • Possession of a valid DEA license or the ability to secure one prior to employment
  • Experience managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient demographic
  • Preferred: 1+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Understanding and support of a managed care environment
