Position Overview:
At Houston Methodist, the Physician Assistant (PA) serves as an advanced practice provider, dedicated to enhancing and safeguarding patient health through comprehensive care, while operating under the guidance of a licensed physician.

Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses a range of diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical, and preventive services, all performed under physician supervision. The PA will:

  • Conduct patient examinations, formulate diagnoses, and determine treatment plans.
  • Analyze and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results.
  • Prescribe medications and document patient histories.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and coordinate various therapeutic interventions.

This position may involve both inpatient and outpatient care, allowing for independent practice under a physician's license or as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Essential Functions:
