The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a crucial role in providing essential personal care to patients within the Veterans Health Administration. This position is vital for ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care and support during their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities
The NA is responsible for a variety of patient care tasks, including but not limited to:
- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Transporting patients to and from appointments and ensuring their comfort during transit.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in patient care areas.

Qualifications
