Job Description:
The Branch Operations Manager will be responsible for the leadership and management of the assigned Branch's maintenance operations, including employee management, customer retention, and profitability objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Constant customer interaction and follow-up to ensure satisfaction surrounding service and to develop existing and potential relationships.
- Team Leadership: Responsible for the hiring, training, and development of personnel.
- Equipment Maintenance: Review and monitor equipment maintenance programs and recommend capital investments.
- Sales Lead Management: Ensure timely and effective action is taken on all sales lead opportunities.
- Financial Performance: Meet or exceed assigned financial and sales goals.
- Performance Evaluations: Conduct performance evaluations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Direct Supervision: Direct supervision of management-level employees.
- Indirect Supervision: Indirect supervision of production-level employees.
- Decision Making Authority: High-level decision-making authority, requiring frequent independent deliberation.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Landscape Architecture, or Horticulture, or at least 10 years of related work experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; ability to speak effectively and present information to employees and clients.
- Mathematical Skills: Intermediate to advanced math skills, including calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
