The Linen Services Specialist is responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of fresh linens for the establishment.

This role encompasses all aspects of linen management, including the collection, transportation, sorting, weighing, loading, and unloading of items (washers, dryers, and chutes), as well as ironing, folding, storing, and delivering.

Additionally, the position involves maintaining cleanliness in the laundry area and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.

Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.

Capable of performing well in high-pressure situations.

Must maintain composure and objectivity during busy periods.

Ability to consistently push/pull laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weights ranging from 50-400lbs (may vary by property).


Must be able to occasionally transfer linens from washer to dryer with potential weights between 25-150lbs (may vary by property).

Essential Duties:
Understand the operation of laundry machines.

Wash and dry all soiled linens, towels, rags, etc., as directed by management.

Clean dryer filters daily and maintain all equipment as instructed.


Operate irons according to standards and ensure they are turned off at the end of the day (responsibility may vary by property).

Fold linens/towels and stock linen carts as needed.

Always practice safe work habits to ensure the safety of guests and fellow employees.

Sweep and mop laundry floors, ensuring all linens are stored off the ground.

Familiarize yourself with all company policies and house rules.

Remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts.

Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris.

Stock all linen closets throughout the property as applicable.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Operar correctamente las máquinas lavadoras y secadoras.

Min: USD $16.00/Hr.
