Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Linen Supply Coordinator to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our linen services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient ordering, receiving, and distribution of linen supplies throughout our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Order and receive linen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory management
  • Sort, mark, fold, wrap, pack, and distribute linen supplies to various departments
  • Clean and organize work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Pick up soiled linen from departments, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and optimize supply chain processes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Valid California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of hospital information systems and inventory management software
  • Experience with inventory management in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of UCI policies and procedures
