Job Summary

The Assistant Manager will play a key role in ensuring the success of our gym operations, providing an exceptional member experience, and driving financial growth. This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week, with a schedule that includes Monday through Thursday from 12pm to 8pm and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Development and Management
    • Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing team.
    • Support staff in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for members, prospective members, and guests.
  • Member Service and Support
    • Oversee member service, ensuring staff provides a superior customer experience.
    • Assist in resolving or escalating employee issues or concerns.
  • Facility Operations and Maintenance
    • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
    • Support the ordering of supplies within budget.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Assist with front desk activities, including answering phones and checking members into the system.
    • Support new member sign-ups and tours.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
  • Solid supervisory, diplomacy, and listening skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
  • Hard working, enthusiastic, and energetic.
  • Strong problem resolution skills.
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
