About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Coordinator to join our Product Development team at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in San Francisco, CA. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head Design Manager and Development Team by coordinating the movement of samples and facilitating development between stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and track all samples and sample ETDs to ensure timely delivery and accurate reporting.
  • Maintain up-to-date Development Reports and ensure all samples are on track to arrive for milestone meetings and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and run weekly Product Development meetings, ensuring all program information is up-to-date prior to the meeting.
  • Generate and publish notes and/or recaps for key meetings to facilitate communication and decision-making.
  • Maintain a safe and organized sample workspace, ensuring products are stored in a manner that fosters a productive environment.
  • Assist the Merchant and Sourcing teams with their sample-related needs and photo sample check-out list.
  • Archive all development samples seasonally and maintain accurate Archive lists.
  • Operate a computer and communicate via telephone to ensure seamless collaboration with team members.
  • Transport materials and equipment, and lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis.
Criteria
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independent and assertive, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, often-changing environment and adapt to new challenges.
  • This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office.
