We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our maternity center team at Iredell Memorial Hospital. As a Maternal Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and comfort to our patients and their families.
**Responsibilities**
* Prescribe nursing care and delegate nursing activities to ensure optimal patient outcomes
* Coordinate the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care to provide high-quality care
* Collaborate with a collaborative team to achieve excellent patient care and comfort
* Maintain current licensure to practice in North Carolina and certification in BLS for healthcare providers
* Participate in hospital and unit-specific orientation to ensure age and population-specific skills
* Demonstrate ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
**Requirements**
* Current Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in North Carolina
* Certification in BLS for healthcare providers (AHA, American Red Cross, National CPR Foundation, NHCPS, EmedCert accepted)
* Successful completion of a hospital and unit-specific orientation
* Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
