We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team at Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing machinery and equipment boiler inspections in our Des Moines, Iowa territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain territory's jurisdictional boiler and pressure vessel certificate inspections
  • Efficiently and effectively manage the territory for which you are responsible
  • Educate agents on how to market machinery and equipment to their clients
  • Provide high-level claims service to our local independent insurance agents
Requirements
  • Good time management skills
  • Solid interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to react professionally under stressful situations
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision
  • Ability to effectively interact and work well with different departments at our company
Preferred Qualifications
  • Machinery and equipment experience within a property and casualty insurance company
  • Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment, equipment breakdown coverages, corresponding business lines, regulations, and consensus standards
  • National board commission or ability to promptly acquire it
