Salary:$26.00 per hour, with a $5,000 retention bonus for new hires
Job Description:The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of road equipment, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance according to company standards
- Complete documentation of all repair orders and parts accountability
- Handle road service calls and perform road rescue as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic experience or 2 years with TK or Refrigeration certification
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including nights and weekends
