Job Title: Bank Regulatory Reporting

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Bank Regulatory Reporting professional to join our team. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day financial reporting and schedule preparation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial reporting and schedule preparation, including preparation of schedules and related workpapers in support of quarterly OCC, Federal Reserve, and SEC filings.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding financial close, issues, and deliverables.
  • Prepare regulatory capital ratios in accordance with regulatory requirements and analyze differences period over period for reporting to senior management.
  • Review and research accounting transactions to correct errors.
  • Monitor external changes to GAAP and RAP as well as internal changes resulting from business transactions that impact regulatory reporting and execute the regulatory change management procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Extensive SEC/bank regulatory reporting accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
