Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Manager of Enterprise Applications to spearhead our Oracle Cloud Finance, SCM, MDM, and OTM initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping our applications strategy to bolster the organization's sales, logistics, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align technology systems with the company's vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and integrity within the team.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technical and business analysts, focusing on recruitment, development, and performance evaluation.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify their needs, design effective technology solutions, and manage their implementation across various teams.
  • Ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures while overseeing the team's execution of work.
  • Work closely with peers in Security, Operations, BI, and Audit to contribute to the overall IT strategy.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of existing applications, recommending enhancements and new technologies as necessary.
  • Guide the selection and implementation of ERP and related systems that meet business requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects and teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Oversee vendor performance to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Participate in strategic design sessions to align team efforts with business needs.

Position Scope: This role involves direct management of a team and significant indirect responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a player-coach, capable of designing strategic roadmaps and executing key initiatives.

Decision-Making Authority: This position operates within established practices and procedures, guided by functional precedents and professional standards.

Financial Responsibility: Contributes to the development of operating plans and budgets, with potential management of specific budget components.

Problem-Solving Complexity: The role involves addressing complex problems that require detailed analysis and thorough investigation.

Leadership and Influence: The ability to build consensus and effectively communicate across the organization is essential. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills to foster cross-functional relationships and drive results.

Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in system design or project management are advantageous.
  • Education: A BS/BA degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience is preferred, with at least 5 years in a relevant role.
  • Skills: A robust background in IT applications design, development, or management, particularly in distribution or manufacturing, is required. Excellent analytical, teamwork, and communication skills are essential, along with strong leadership and project management capabilities.
