WSB and Associates is seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team. As a Construction Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Field Observation and Inspection: Conduct thorough field observations and inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Material Sampling and Testing: Perform material sampling and testing to verify the quality of materials used in construction projects.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and detailed documentation, including daily diaries, quantity calculations, and backup documentation.
- Project Administration: Assist with project administration tasks, including preparing pay estimates and producing project documentation for private, municipal, county, and federal projects.
- Experience: 1+ years of construction inspection or related experience is required; 5+ years of experience is preferred.
- Certifications: Current MnDOT/NDDOT technical certifications are preferred; qualified candidates should send a copy of their current DOT certification card when applying.
- Education: A two-year technical degree from an accredited school or a degree from a four-year accredited college in a field related to civil engineering construction is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills are required.
