As a Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the installations, inspections, and repairs within our facilities. Your responsibilities will include effective communication and coordination of building and facilities work with various departments and contractors.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for building systems in accordance with trade standards and specifications.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, ensuring ongoing performance feedback.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and administrative requirements to ensure departmental compliance.
  • Contribute to the safe operation of the facilities shop, focusing on preventative maintenance, operation, and testing.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training preferred. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field is advantageous.

Certifications: A valid state driver's license is required, with insurability under Cleveland Clinic's policy.

Experience: A minimum of four years as a qualified tradesperson or technician in a relevant field, with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred.


Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 100 lbs, and working in various conditions.
